Motherhood and IVF: a Journey

One month away from the end of my maternity leave, I thought perhaps it's time to reflect on my experience with the discovery of the nasty disease called Endometriosis, IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation), pregnancy and motherhood.

The whole process was a bit like peeling an onion – it went deeper and deeper into my thoughts on a number of things on marriage, feminism, career and more. Honestly I didn't really expect to experience these things, mostly because we often saw the glorious side of motherhood from others but perhaps people didn't really talk about what they have gone through on a deeper level.

The journey made me questioned my choices, the society, my workplace, health issues and more.

I supposed through this blog I would be attempting to peel the (complicated) onion layer by layer.
